How to Delete Your Account

You can delete your account directly from within the Wardrobe app. Follow these simple steps:

Steps to Delete Your Account:

1 Open the Wardrobe app on your device
2 Navigate to Account Settings by tapping the Settings icon (⚙️) in the top right corner of the Welcome screen
3 Select "Delete Account" from the Account Settings menu
4 Confirm deletion when prompted. You will see a warning message explaining that this action cannot be undone
5 Wait for confirmation. The app will process your deletion request and you will be logged out automatically

What Data Will Be Deleted?

When you delete your account, the following data will be permanently removed:

Data That Will Be Deleted:

  • User Profile: Your display name, username, gender, date of birth, profile photo, and subscription information
  • Authentication Data: Your phone number, email address, Google account link, and Firebase Authentication account
  • All Wardrobes: All wardrobe collections you created, including names, locations, and item counts
  • All Clothing Items: All clothing items and their metadata including:
    • Cloth types, colors, seasons, categories, occasions
    • Placement status (InWardrobe, OutWardrobe, Laundry, DryCleaning, Repairing)
    • Placement details (shop name, given date, return date when applicable)
    • Wear history (all dates and times when items were marked as worn)
    • Last worn dates and wear statistics
  • All Images: All clothing photos and profile photos stored in Firebase Storage
  • Social Data:
    • All friend connections and friend requests (incoming and outgoing)
    • All direct messages and chat history
    • All comments you posted on clothing items
    • All likes you gave to clothing items
    • All clothing items you shared with friends
  • Notification Preferences: All notification settings, quiet hours, and push notification tokens
  • Privacy Settings: All privacy preferences and visibility settings

After you request account deletion:

Anonymized Analytics Data:

Some anonymized analytics data may be retained for service improvement purposes. This data:

  • Cannot be linked back to your personal identity
  • Does not contain any personal information
  • Is used only for aggregate statistical analysis
  • Helps us improve the app for all users
